Peanut and Purls and Seed Stitched Cowls

I finished the seed stitch cowl I was working on last week. I didn't really use any specific pattern, just cast on some stitches and knit away.

It's hard to convey just how soft this pillowy, buttery yarn is. PW sure knows because she's got her dirty paws all over it. I don't blame her though, I might have to go stand on it for a while too. It's baby bulky alpaca, and I can't think of a better way to appreciate alpaca than to have it crammed next to your face. That way you can get all of its softness and breathe in the delicious fleecy aroma of the pac pacs. I f'ing love it so much!

It's going to be one of my favorites this fall/winter. I finished it just in time too because this morning it was pouring out when I woke up. Never mind that next week I'm going to southern California, bring on the fall and the winter and the snow (I have a garage now, and I'm really excited to park my car in it).

I'm more than prepared. I'm ready, and I'm already knitting another.

  1. Seed stitch is one of my fav's so simple but graphic! I need to dust off my knitting needles again for fall too.

    1. It really does show off the yarn while still adding a texture! Yes, get knitting, winter is coming!
