Plundering mother's garden

I took care of my mom's cats and her horse Sully over the weekend so she could go visit sister Christine in Spokane...ergo I plundered her garden.
Sully!
To be fair she certainly didn't mind, but boy did I get some treasures--check it out...

Berries, cucumbers, and zucchini

Dahlias

More dahlias

Yellow dinner plate dahlia it's huge (that's what she said)

Not too shabby! Nothing tastes better than fresh veggies from a garden, especially when your mom grew it.

Seeing how fresh those berries, cucumber and zucchinis are, and how lively those Dahlia’s have grown only proves your mother's talent and passion for gardening.

    1. Thanks Darrell--she is really good at it. I'm not sure she realizes it though. I think that growing up on a farm in Minnesota she thinks gardening is just something people know how to do. Either way, I love it!
